North sea - fishing: herring, sardines and mackerel. people trade fish to outer countries in Europe. 
The vikings used attacking outer countries -good water ways.


vegetation:
the was a lot of forest with oak, pine, spruce (and more). to make houses and boats. the is often rain -watering the plants.

topography:
plains from the coast -forest covered hills -mountains.

plains - used for growing.  mountains -used for grading land. provide fresh water from melting snow.



historical factors:
Stavanger was the first land in Norway to be free from ice after the last ice age.

(10-4000 year b.c) In Stavanger they lived in stone houses (now they live in wooden houses).

(1800-500 year b.c) Trade with outer countries, bronze from outer countries and animal skin from Norway.
